Inspired by my other thread asking about job hunting.
I started looking into volunteering, and I found some where they travel around and whatnot. GVI is an example, but is very expensive; while I would love to do it, right now I won't be able to pay for it. Perhaps sometime in the future?
The thought of volunteering overseas or somewhere out there really excites me, but I won't be able to spend too much money.
What are some good organizations/etc to look into? I'm looking at WWOOF, which is essentially volunteering on organic farms for a certain amount of time. What are some other options I can take a look at? What do you think about the idea in general?
