Travelling to Wash DC tomorrow...what's the weather look like?

I've been following the forecasts but some are saying that it's going to be a 'tropical storm-aggeddon" others are claiming that it might rain a little. Folks in and around the area, what's your local forecast saying? It's not a huge drive for me (just around 4 hours) but if we're getting hammered by a tropical storm, I'm staying put.

You honestly don't really need to worry about tropical storms or depressions, or even cat 1-2 hurricanes if the building you're in and your property is up to code.

It's really the drive down there that's worrying me. Here in Jersey, they seem to make every storm out to be the "storm of the century" so I'm wondering what local Wash DC weather reports are saying.

I'm just hoping that there's a lot of bikes down there for me to steal!

Light rain here today. Spoke with a coworker in Richmond and he said it is raining like mad. I think it's headed this way.

Thanks!
yeah, that's what they're saying here as well. Damn. I'm thinking that I'll just stay put unless the forecast changes.

looks like it will be a fair amount of rain tonight through tomorrow afternoon/evening, but none of the local weather reports are telling us to expect high winds or anything.

from the WaPo:
Though winds may be quite gusty at the Md./De./Va. beaches, winds in the immediate metro region will probably only be on the order of 10-20 mph (with some higher gusts possible during heavy rain bands). Widespread power outages are not anticipated locally. Some of the eastern suburbs, however, adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay could see gusts of 30-50 mph - perhaps enough to cause some isolated outages.
