Trip Planing, Miami to Indiana

It's looking like i'm going to be making a trip down to Miami to pick up a car i bought on the 'bay, and since i'll be doing it on my fall break, i'll have 4 days to make my way back to northwest Indiana.

So the question is, what should I do/see along the way?

and seeing as i'm an impoverished college student, cheep is good, as in about the only thing i'll pay admission for would be a concert.

I'm looking for any and all suggestions and the route is in no way set in stone.
