IMO this was the best sports broadcasting team ever. MNF had life because of the contrasting personalities. Don was a character. Football is a game. It should be fun, and he knew that.
When they went with Michaels, Gifford and Dierdorf they were all so serious you would think it was championship chess.
They could never re-create that original magic and eventually, well... |

One of my favorite broadcasters - he is missed.
