TV Ratings Trends

Does anyone know where I can find TV Ratings Trends? Perhaps graphs or other information on how TV ratings have changed over the years (possibly due to the internet and increasing technologies)?

I have to do a research project on this, but too many of the sites I find are articles of reports for specific days and not enough results for changes over years. Just wondering if anyone would know where I could find this information.

Yes, I tried Google

The easiest way to get this information you seek would be to contact Nielsen, as they've done most of the ratings for quite some time now.
