Meaning celebrities posting might be considered "cool" by those who want to hear what they're doing. But for everyday people to use it seems absurd to me.
Also, in events such as this and travelling, as mentioned earlier, Twitter can also be useful. But for these people posting their own nonsense that nobody really cares about, it seems ridiculous to me.

And I use it very sparingly. Only if I have something really clever to say to my three or four friends who use it several times a day. I also find it quite useful for following bands I like.
