So has any one gone yet? I am planning on taking my neice this weekend for her 14th bday. Tix are 14 bucks so kinda spendy but she really digs The Edge. IF you have gone let me know how it was.

I saw the preview for it when I was there for Beowulf 3D... I thought it looked SWEET!! I want to go in a week or 2

Hey they had this on this news here. It's going to be playing at the Baltimore Science Center, and is suppose to be pretty amazing. I'd go see it but im not a U2 fan... at all.

Actually, I'm not a fan. I was kind of hinting at that. It's just not very interesting music to me. But, don't let me spoil your fun.

My brother went and saw it. (He's not a U2 fan, but he is a musician)
'It's an exciting technology [3D cameras].....you can really see the band interacting with eachother through all of the subtle glances. You kind of feel like you're on stage with the sound.' are some of the things he had to say.

I likened it to when King Crimson's DVD, Deja Vroom, came out that used DTS 5.1 and Dolby 5.1 sound with the multiple soundtracks and angles that allowed the viewer to bring each musician out to center-stage if so desired.
He agreed.

I'll go check it out for myself. In the end.....that's all we can do.

Saw it last night in a regular theater (not IMAX) - still in 3-D mind you. Awesome concert film, even better with the surround sound and excellent 3-D technology - it's a shame not many people will see it since it hasn't been promoted much.
