Ubuntu at work Win7 at home.
I have to say, I don't hate 7 nearly as much as I wanted to.

Although it does suck that I had to revert to 9.04 due to the fact that there's not a driver compatible with my laptop's wireless. Since I'm relatively new to Ubuntu can someone recommend a GOOD media player? Amarok won't upload my files to the library, Exaile sucks and Rhythmbox isn't much better even though that's what I'm using.

If you're looking for iTunes-style players, Banshee is pretty good, and Songbird as well I hear.

for a music player i really liked Exaile. What dont you like about it? The way it pulls info, tabs, and lyrics was very useful when i was learning songs...it doese take some getting used to....i forget if it had a cd burner or not, which was a big issue for me until cdburnerxp was discovered...
I didn't care for songbird much. You could try for Media Monkey, but i dont know if they have a linux version. DONT use it to sync ipods without doing a trial run with backup in place though. It deleted a bunch of my files by naming all the songs in one album the same FPRN.mp3 filename. Then i'd pull them back and only have the last song of the album.

And I don't see any reason to have 2 OS on my computer.
So I am a frustrated windows use.

When I had dual-booted Ubuntu with my Windows Vista, anytime I tried to transfer a file over my network, my computer would lock up and crash. So when I installed Windows 7, I completely wiped my entire harddrive and never dual-booted it again. But I was trying out virtual pc software with old versions of Windows I had and figured I'd try it with Ubuntu as well. I do like Ubuntu, but I can't make the full switch over to using it primarily.
