Alright guys what are you picks and why?

This is heck of a fight card.

Griffin vs Evans

I got Griffin in a hard fought 5 round decision.

I think Rashad has the edge in the Wrestling and Takedown dept., but Forrest has shown a really good sprawl. I feel that Forrest's boxing is also better that Rashad's. Although Rashad showed some real improved skills in the Liddel fight. This will hopefully be a slug fest. I don't see Forrest trying to take this to the ground, but I do see Rashad starting standing and eventually try to take this down as Forrest works an outside game and slowly jabs and leg kicks Rashad, forcing him to shoot inside.

Nog vs. Mir

As much as I like Mir and think he is a great fighter and a killer BJJ tactician I think that he will be out matched by Nog. Nogueira has shown time and time again that he can take a beating and dish out a sever beating. Standing Nog has the advantage. On the ground it will be a real battle. I really feel that as good as Mir's ground game is, Nog's is just as good, if not better. This will be determined. I just don't think that Mir will be able to submit Nog. Nog via TKO in the Third.

Rampage vs. The Axe Murderer (Part III)

There's some real bad blood here. These do not like each other at all. Even though Wanderli won the last two match ups, I give this on to Rampage. Look for a 2nd or 3rd round KO by Rampage. I think that Wandi, despite his win over Jardine, is a bit past his prime and isn't the same fighter he was the last two times he fought Rampage. Rampage OTOH, despite the decision loss to Griffin, has been on a tear. If he has worked out his personal and emotional issues and come into this fight with a clear head, we'll see the return of the dominant Rampage. With that said I'm looking forward to a Rampage-Griffin rematch sometime in 2009.
