UK Talkbassers! I have a question!

My buddy was in London on a trip and bought me a tshirt. Clockwork Orange! My favorite movie! How nice of him. The sticker on the front had an S, so I assumed it was small. I opened it up and saw the tag said Super. What the H? Never heard of a Super size, unless it was Mcdonalds or something. So I put it on and its like a friggin dress on me. Does Super size equate to a US Large size? What is small called in your country?

Yours truly, a not fat American.

Never seen that myself.

S-Small
M-Medium
L-Large
XL-Extra Large
XXL-Extra Extra Large

etc etc

Tho, IIRC, our sizes are a little bit smaller than the US equivilants, but I don't think there is any real standard, so it probably doesn't make a difference (I've got some XL shirts that are massive and some that are skin tight).

Every single small I got over there was pretty much the same as small's here or like mohawk said just a tad bit smaller.

If he got it in Petticoat Lane or Camden Market, then the markings / sizing will bear no relation to any other article of clothing or sizing you are familiar with. Basically, you get what you pay for and in those two places, you don't pay very much!
