For those peeps in the San Diego area, you should come out and check out the bands!

I went last night, and there were 5 cover bands. I'm not a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, but the tribute band blew the roof off. Musicianship, showmanship - great job.

My band's in it in a couple weeks.

Looks to be a lot of fun. $25000 first prize.

Not affiliated with it, just wondering if anyone else has gone, or is interested.

The AC/DC tribute band rocked hard. It's a bit tough doing the whole 'tribute' thing, personally I think it's tougher to cover a wider variety of bands. Back To Black (as they were called) played their parts well, though.

Back to Back, I believe, is from the LA area. Do you know if thats so?
My father's former coworker is in an AC/DC tribute band, and I think that may be the one.

I think they're from San Diego.

One of my best friends is in an AC/DC tribute band here in sac called Riff/Raff. That looks like them. Well, except maybe Dave is a tad shorter than that Angus

This gal's band rocked Alanis Morisette, Janis Joplin and Pat Benatar. 4'11" and so much power in her voice.

The Skynyrd tribute won their round.

Getting a bit nervous for our round October 2nd.
