Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Anyone played it?

Anyone played the game? It's PS3 exclusive and both Gamespot and IGN rated the game 9.5 out of 10. I purchased it yesterday, and have to say it is easily, easily Game of the Year (that is if Infinityward (Call of Duty) doesn't throw a bunch of money at critiques so Modern Warfare 2 wins the award). I'm only at 50% of the game and I'd play it over again! I also heard the multiplayer is awesome but I haven't got to it yet.

I rented the game from GameFly and I've about completed the game. I played the first game when it launched and I loved it. It is one of the few games with stellar voice-acting, dialogue that is actually witty, almost perfect facial animations, and exceptionally grand stage design. There are so many "holy ----" moments that I lost count. It is definitely one of the few games out there today that is worth $60.00.

Thumbs up

I'm a latecomer to the Uncharted series but just finished the first game about a week ago and can't wait to play Uncharted 2.

Almost got my platinum trophy for it Just need to finish up the last 3 chapters on Crushing. I liked the first one, and all the problems I had with the first one (the combat sections were usually more frustrating than fun, enemies in locations they shouldn't be, lack of enemy variety, too many bullets to kill an enemy, random ducking/side stepping as you line up a headshot, etc) were all fixed in this game. As well as taking the story telling up a notch. One of the funnest, most well rounded games I've played in a long time, even though it offers nothing new to the action adventure genre.

Great friggin' game. The animation is very good, the voice acting is excellent, the gameplay is smooth and it's just plain fun. I think it's a must have for ps3 owners. I've hated the recent trend toward online multiplayer at the sacrifice of the single player experience ( cough, cough....Modern Warfare 2). Did I mention that this game rocks?
