Just found a couple of interesting facts.
Animal House: The guitar player playing the guitar at the toga party is Stephen Bishop. The guitar player in "Otis Day & the Knights" was Robert Cray.
Anyone else know of some uncredited musicians in movies?

Jeff Beck also appeared as a bar band guitarist in the Schwartzenegger/DeVito film "Twins".
These two guys were probably credited in the fine print of the final credits, though - in modern times, you only have to sneeze when an album or movie is made to be credited as being a part of the project.

Which reminds me, I think at the end of Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, Rufus, played by George Carlin, grabs a guitar, and shreds. They never show his face and his hands at the same time, because it was Steve Vai actually playing the guitar. I'm not sure if he was credited.

Wally | You talking about the band with the fire torches on the beach????
I always get a hoot going when that sax player/singer starts doing the "dry hump" when he starts playing the sax. |
