Long story short, I just got back from taking my stress test and another echo gram that involved using a sonogram too.
The doc told me that my heart beat was irregular prior to the test which was indicative to having a heart attack. Though when I did the actual stress test, there were no complications and nothing triggered. I gotta admit, that test was a bit of a bitch. 9 minutes on a treadmill going uphill and continually faster until they got my heart rate to 152 BPM.
I have to see my primary physician tomorrow, so I'm not quite sure what's going to go down as far as my heart goes anymore, but the cardiologist told me that the test went well, so I'm breathing a sigh of relief on that. To quote the doc, "you know what you need to do, so just start doing it." I wish I started doing it sooner rather than later though.
Now, I've got to get one more possible threat of a different nature in my mouth looked at at by my doc tomorrow and then knock it out if it's something serious. Then if/when all goes well on that, I'll be pretty much worry free at least as far as my overall health goes.
