Notice the bass in the 4th pic in the slide show. Familiar?

"God. God played bass. It's as simple as that.

God was the drummer for "Heaven", until their bassist, Lucifer, got fired. Then, God had to fill in for Lucifer on bass."

This was awesome.

"a guitar would sound very ****** without the bass. Same goes for the guitar, a bass sounds... boring without a guitar. The two go hand in hand, whether added synthetically or actually played."

Meh, sorry, but in most cases I like hearing guitar and bass separately in a solo context.
When I'm listening to guitar pieces, I want a minimal amount of bass, and when I'm listening to bass pieces, I want a minimal amount of guitar.

There are some exceptions though. Billy Sheehan playing with Steve Vai is one of the few times I will notice and pay attention to both the guitar and bass playing and how they compliment each other, in the same song.

I've been known to have odd musical preferences though.

Awesome. Who is playing it though? Or is that the man himself? (Never seen a picture of him!)
