URGENT PHOTOSHOP REQUEST (for St Patrick's Day)

Sign in to disble this ad
Need a graphic of a Unicorn with a red circle and a slash through it. (The mythical beast, not the bass or the Pink Horsey.)

I used to have one, but it's not around any more. Can anyone help?

Those of you with St. Patrick's Day gigs know why this is necessary.

Oooh, clean up that quote tag at the end, can't let it look all janky like that.

EDIT: Ahh. Perfect. That's good stuff right there.

sidestory: I have sent six unicorn images I got from Googling around, to our color printer. I have roughly 18 more pics ready to send.

I'm plastering my coworker's office with them during lunch.

Can anyone explain why to me?

There are certain songs which a bar band or St Patrick's Day party band will be asked to play whether they want to or not, and they never do. One of these is the Shel Silverstein tune "The Unicorn", recorded by the Irish Rovers about 1967. It has been making musicians miserable ever since.

The other song in that vein, of course, is "Danny Boy."

For my part I like dirty Irish songs and pro-IRA songs. The rest of the stuff is just fluff.

Ah, I see, luckily over here there's rarely room in a bar for a band, on Paddy's Day, so we don't have to listen to that stuff!
