Just like last summer, in San Diego, was the first time openly gay active members of the military marched, in full uniform, in the gay pride parade.

Anything is a big deal to those close to it. I'm pleased when sailors return to home port safely, and whether the first one off the ship is hetero- or homosexual doesn't matter to me. Welcome them all home. |

every time something like this happens, there are those who will take advantage of the situation to pursue their own ends... How long will it be before openly gay military personal will be photographed in drag?
This will be a big deal, because it will be taken to mean that the limitations for openly gay behavior have been lifted. We all know that not everyone will comply with accepted ideas of decency, and there will be some kind of debacle to embarrass our military...then the gay crowd will be up in arms again, claiming civil rights violations if new rules are initiated..

This will be a big deal, because it will be taken to mean that the limitations for openly gay behavior have been lifted. | Talk about a slippery slope...

These women were not held accountable. How long do you think it will be before someone takes it to the next level?
