Glock 22 .40 with night sights and 2 (15) clips. It's a local police trade in. I'm not sure how old it is but it's got an accessory rail.

The price is $499

Good deal or not?

I don't think so, but I'm not an expert on plastic guns.

Depends on who it was used on I guess!

Used Glocks from CDNN and other places usually run $349-369 depending on if they have tritium night sights.

Of course you have to add in dealer transfer, etc. but your price is still high.

$400 is the average pawn shop price so yeah, $500 is too much.

This has been a few years, but I think my 24C (long barrel and compensated) was ~$600-ish new.

Yep.

You can go pick up an issue of Shotgun News to find one of these deals and just get a local FFL to order it (+ S&H) in for you.

That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me! You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines here, and it costs more than you make in a month!

Glock 7.... that's funny.

Gander Mountain has 22s and 23s all the time for $350.

I screwed up; I wanted a police trade-in Gen-3 G19 and didn't get one when there was a metric buttload of them at CDNN several months ago... now they're few and far between.

If you can get a certificate of authenticity I would pay that much for it... but ONLY if it was used to take out some perps, double if it was used on an episode of cops.

If the local cops there are anything like the cops around here....that thing should be like new!

Only shot once or twice a year for Qual's and that's it!

Sounds a bit high priced for used, but in the ballpark. If the price includes tax and Dealer/ registration fees, it is probably worth it.
