Utlimate Eating Untensil

I'm not posting these to promote sales. They aren't even available yet from the guy making them. I just thought they were COOL. They sure as hell beat the little pansy *** sporks at the camping stores. Plus the bottle opener, and welding tank wrench slot. I'm on the list to get one. It will be great on the boat. No more eating with plastic forks and opening bottles with fishing plyers

From what I understand, they made a huge investment in a press and dies to stamp these out of titanium. It leaves me wondering...........why didn't I think of doing that

This. I immediately thought of the ThinkGeek one when I read the OP.

Billions of people have already determined that chopsticks are the ultimate eating utensil.

I think the "Billions of people can't be wrong" argument has its flaws.

Very iteresting. I need to post this on the knife forum........Never saw it before. What they illustrate as a spatula actually looks exactly like a "fleam" blade used for lancing infections in both humans and horses.

I've eaten plenty of steaks with chopsticks. Either cut it up before serving, or poke it and take bites out of it.

When did a knife and fork stop working?

That said, the bottle opener on the back is a good idea.

Exactly. Why carve up your own steaks anyway? That's what Teppanyaki chefs are for!

The bottle opener and wrench slot would totally make this worth having on a camping trip. I'll take a couple.

That looks like a GREAT spork.

I went backpacking with my nephew he had one of these:

http://www.lightmyfireusa.com/spork.html

I like the one in the OP better - when will they be available? I'm going on a backpacking trip in four weeks and I lost my titanium spoon on my last trip.

I'm not sure when they'll be available. So far, I think they've just made a prototype run. It doesn't look like much but tooling up to make these things is quite an undertaking for a one man operation. As soon as I know more, I'll pass it along.
