Vacation help.

So some people would have read my thread about the lady situation a little while ago. Things are picking up and we both want to work on it, and decided to have a getaway for a week or so.

Been looking at the usual, Mexico, Cuba, Dom. Republic, Caribbean, Hawaii etc.

Wanting somewhere we can scuba dive or snorkel, awesome beach, all inclusive preferably, somewhat quiet and plenty of activities around so that we're not sitting in the hotel the whole time.

Trying to keep it around $1500CAD or as close as possible, and would prefer 7 nights but can do 4. Been looking through some travel books and found some places that caught the eye, but thought I'd ask around as well if anyone has any advice from previous experience on places to go.

We're interested in any activities really, from surfing to hiking, diving, sailing, rafting etc. We're both adventurous people who like to do something new. Also both love doing the backpacking thing but for once would like everything set out, organised and booked in one go to make it easy and stress free.

Any help/tips are appreciated,
Cheers.

Go to Kauai, Hawaii.

it will run you more, but you will love it, and be happy that you went.

In the couple books I've got Kauai isn't actually that bad price wise, I would love to hit Hawaii as well. I was thinking of Maui as I'd love to do the volcano sunrise ride.
Not sure what either island offer in terms of other activities though?

North Shore of Oahu for Hawaii. Rent a place on the beach. It's gorgeous, and and only as isolated as you want it to be.

On the note of Hawaii, does anyone know any companies or sites that are good for doing an island-hop style trip? Is there anywhere I could book everything so that we spend a couple days on one island at a time etc?

I've gone on a few cruises in the Caribbean. Pretty cheap way to see a few different islands, but your time is usually limited to 12 hours or so. Usually enough time to get a dive in, maybe dinner, but that's about it.
