She's super sick (sinus infection) right now, so I'll prolly get her a care package with the things she loves: chocolate and mac n cheese.

The cliche roses and box of chocolates. and those little candy hearts that are made of earwig honey.
But i'm gonna give them to her in our animal science class we share (It's an academy class at a different highschool between our highschools, so its the only time i'll see her >.<) But it'll be sweet.

I took her out last weekend for Valentines (I wont be able to see her on the 14 and this coming weekend we are busy with other stuff), we went out for dinner and went skating on a privet rink in the moonlight.

Ahem, VD is for sweethearts, not just married folk.

We haven't decided how to celebrate this year, though I'll surprise her with some goodies...

I got him a VAUDE Gallery Air 30+5 backpack.

We don't do the gift exchange. I just wanted to get him something to replace his old (still good, but musty) backpack.

We always buy each other rubber chickens.

It's both a parody of the whole Valentine's Day nonsense and a reminder of the time I flew 3,000 miles just to walk into her place of work and hand her a rubber chicken in front of the class. At least, that was the plan - a snowstorm intervened and I only made it 3/4 of the way there and was stranded overnight instead. The chicken survived.

On the 15th, we celebrate "It's the day after Valentines Day Day" - much easier to get a table in a restaurant.
