Vegas???

To the group ...

I am in Vegas for business meetings all week but I'm free today until about 5 pm.

Besides the normal Vegas diversions (casinos, shows, Hoover Dam), are there any daytime activities I should check out?

For entertainment value, I would have stopped into Ed Roman's but I understand that his retail operation is now closed. On the way in, I also noticed a GC off the freeway.

I'm open to suggestions.

There's a place, for the life of me, I cant remember what it was called...but I saw it advertised on the main strip not too far away from the "Las Vegas" sign, but it's a rifle range of sorts where you can go fire machine guns and whatnot. Now you wanna talk about stress relief?

It's called the "Gun Store", tons of fun (but can get $$$).

http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/

I recommend it to all my Canadian buddies; however, since the OP is from the US it may not be as exciting (but might be).

That's it, thanks!! That was driving me nuts that I could not remember.
In regards to it though - depends on where in the US you're from, In my state (New Jersey), this is unheard of so it's a rare treat for us as well.

I have several friends in Vegas that shoot Class III subgun matches. When I'm in Vegas it's usually for the SHOT Show so I end up shooting with those guys several times during the week. The Gun Store is a nice place as well but bring plenty of ammo money
