pairing beer with food.
putting the wrong beer with your meal can ruin the experience of both the meal and the beer.
discuss.

If you have Guinness and a lot of bread, it's like...10 loaves of bread.
I usually don't drink WHILE i'm eating. I'll have a sip or two, but I usually drink it all before, or after. |

I can't imagine NOT pairing alcohol with food. |

In the case of beer or wine I just take a few sips for the taste while eating, and I'll usually end up finishing the glass/keg after I've eaten.

I can't imagine NOT pairing alcohol with food. | I'm sorry...
I quite like a really cold cider with a BBQ, but other than that I've just never really enjoyed them together.

Like I could never drink a stout or oatmeal ale with dinner..gag...I'll save that goodness for after. Something Japanese like a Sapporo, or Kirin is good. Mexican beer is also good with food, like a Corona or Dos Equis.

Fish and chips, pizza, steak and vegetables, sushi, pho, etc. I'm looking for something with a clean taste to cleanse my palate. Thick stouts and Porters are better taken *as* dessert than with dessert.
