Video help please

I have a DVD of my band and I can't figure out to copy the DVD to my computer. I want to upload the ongs on youtube, but I figured I'd have to put it on the computer first.

Any help?

Insert the DVD into your computer. Copy the .VOB files found in a directory like D:\VIDEO_TS\ to your computer into a directory called something like C:\Awesome Band Vids\ . Then find a free .vob to .avi converter. Then upload to youtube.

*EDIT* The directory where the .VOB files are held could be different from the one I posted.

I'm computer dumb, so how do I copy the .VOB files? Where do I find them?

I have windows Vista btw.
