Vintage Sunglasses --- Where to sell?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi All,

My uncle recently gave me some vintage Armani and Carerra sunglasses and they are really cool but unfortunately took small for my giant head! I was about to give to the thrift store, but I checked online was quite surprised to see that that a website was selling the Armani pair for $235!!! Obviously GAS kicked in immediately (it would be great to somehow turn some free sunglasses into a new bass/amp/pedals, especially because I've reached the limit with the wife).

So does anyone have any suggestions where I could sell these glasses to a receptive audience (besides ebay/craigslist)? Is there a "talkbass" of the vintage sunglasses world out there?

Thanks for any help!

PS- Mods, I don't think this is out of bounds because I really just want info on where to sell these sunglasses, but if it's even a close call I'll be happy to delete.

You could list them in the classifieds here, ebay, ect.

I'd post them here once you are a supporting member. Try a cash or trade deal. We got guys dropping several thousand bucks on basses chilling in these forums, what's a couple hundred on shades?

Ebay is by far the best...whether you like it as a venue or not. Nowhere else can you get as many eyes on the items. You might also surf the web for sunglass forums to see if you can join and use any classified option.

Thanks for the suggestions. I couldn't find any vintage sunglasses forums so it seems like a great excuse to become a supporting member here and then try eBay if all else fails.
