Vinyl Display Ideas?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just bought 3 Vinyls that really mean a lot to me. they are all limited runs and i want to display them on my wall. I found some really cool frames, but to get three would be a little over 100 dollars! Anybody know of any i can buy on the net that look good and dont cost an arm and a leg?

Hi.

You're kidding, right?

The special glass alone costs a pretty penny, not to mention the frame.

The frame materials are from 10€/m + labour.

You can substitute the glass with a normal non UV block glass, but then the colors fade in sunlight fast.

The materials alone for 1 frame are $30 easily if it's done correctly and well. Cheap out and the value of the displayed item goes down.

Regards
Sam

I have mine out like this

Mind you, none of these are hard to come by and that wall has never seen a ray of sunshine in it's life.

But it's a nice, easy and cheap way of displaying them. And you can switch them up whenever you like

It's made with this stuff

I think I've seen something similar at Urban Outfitters before... and they looked relatively inexpensive if I remember correctly. Not sure if they still sell them. But, if you can tollerate being in an Urban Outfitters, you might want to try there... or Ebay, maybe?

The first three Fall Out Boy albums aren't ever going to be worth anything, just thumbtack them to the wall.

i got a few frames a while back from IKea. They are basically a cardboard backing with a solid piece of glass that clips over it. About a 6" border of the glass is painted black. They were maybe $10 each, but i don't know if you can still find them there.

Well, what i really wanted was a frame that displays the vinyl itself, AND the album cover, ya know? Because these ones are so cool looking.
