kinda misleading... he won once on 13 tickets that played the same numbers on the same day.

Not to nitpick, but he won 13 times simultaneously, not consecutively.

Either way, it's pretty cool. Although, it seems to me that one ticket would have given hime the same thing, and he'd be $12 further ahead.

No, its one large jackpot, but if multiple people use the same numbers and win they have to divvy it up, so yes, essentially the man used 12 more tickets than necessary.

He won $1.1 mil from a $100k Lottery.

Its like Roulette, and he put 13 tickets on Black and won.
