Amazing photograph!

Yeah, I do, but all in Reykjavik, none down South near the
Highlands near Eyjafjallajokull (IslandMountainGlacier).
The newest eruption apparently blew under the glacier's icecap,
creating floodwaters to the south and tremendous
steam and ash as opposed to a smooth hot lava flow.
They evacuated a lot of the locals, but looks like
this farm is West of the explosion. The wind is
carrying the plume left to right towards the Southwest.
This is an evening picture so the colors are nice.

It's extremely dangerous to aircraft and highly damaging to my 77 year old mother's bank account - she was due to flight out of London on holiday tomorrow, but the planes are all grounded, the holiday is trashed and the travel insurance won't pay up to reimburse her because it's "an act of God"

usually cite 'force majeur, insurrection, natural
disaster', etc. I thought that was what the travel insurance
was for.
But, I get it after my insurance company told me I was on my
own with the recent flooding here in this area. They just want
to collect your money, paying is only when they absolutely
need to. My forefathers hated insurance companies,
now I know why.

Life Insurance = You place a monthly bet saying 'I bet you Im gonna die' Then they smile, say 'I bet that you dont' and take your money.
Car Insurance = You place a monthly bet saying 'I bet you Im gonna crash' Then they smile, say 'I bet that you dont' and take your money.
Health Insurance = You place a monthly bet saying 'I bet you Im gonna get sick' Then they smile, say 'I bet that you dont' and take your money.
I just cancelled my health insurance.
