Me first. My wife likes lamps. Makes it fairly easy at Christmas time- hit the local antique store a few weeks early & bam; done. Scored a nice 20s/30s floor model w/a new shade this year. Next?

I predict that many of the posts in this thread will be "Gloves".

Books, mostly romance novels and some fantasy/sci-fi (Harry Potter, Ender's series, etc). She can read a paperback in 2 hours. I got her to get a library card but "they don't have anything I like." *SIGH*

What's a totally-cheap-but-not-complete-POS/entry level one of them run?

Edit:If your SO is female, clothes goes w/o saying. If she don't like clothes, check for an Adam's apple...

I have to small electrics. One's a POS $200 the other is a better one that I have about $900 into. I'm getting tired of flying small electrics and will soon move up to a larger nitro. That will be about $2000 to get everything up and running, not including the support gear.

The first thing I would do if you're interested is get some good RC Heli simulator software!! They are very realistic and greatly helped my learning curve.

True, but in this case, she buys something, wears it once, and it's never seen again. (I suspect they're buried in her closet, but I stay away from there.) It gives her a reason to go buy more.

Not that I have a significant other, but the only woman in my life (which would be my mother) likes to buy stuff off the Home Shopping Network, if that counts.
