very funny movie. i thought it was going to be dumb and silly, and... well... it was, but it was MUCH better than i was expecting.
the songs are great, and it riffs on "walk the line" nearly non-stop.
...and jenna fischer has never looked better. |

| | | JUST saw it this Xmas afternoon. Very entertaining!
The Beatles scene: Hilarious! Jack Black playing Paul, Sascha Baron Cohan as John lennon...Oh, Man!
And the actress from "The Office" who plays Darlene- cool!
Well-paced, Dewey Cox is hilarious, and the whole concept... F-U-N=N-Y!!! |

I've talked to some of my friends who saw it but didn't like it at all, but the humor was right up my alley.
"Now, I'm cut in half pretty good, so in case I don't make it-"
"You're gonna make it!!"

George: "I haven't written much lately. All I've got is a song called While My Guitar Somberly Sleeps."
Ringo: "I wrote a song about an octopus."
John to Paul: "I wonder if I'll still hate you when I'm 64."
I really liked this movie. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
