| | | | Moby is cool, plays all the instruments on his CD's. From the CD's I bought I liked his guitar playing. I like Moby's music.
I think Moby is a decent guy from the interviews I have read & heard. He makes a nice target, due to his Michael Stipe looks, soft demeanor and sudden success. Yes, he's a little squirrelly guy.
As far as the ad campaigns, I read he basically had no money, his music was just starting top catch on, but is full of self doubt, had made a couple of CD's before, that were going nowhere, was thrilled that people would actually "want" to use his music and even more thrilled people were going to actually pay for it.
I say more power to him. At least he is one electronic artist that is real musician, such as Square Pusher. Don't be hating on Moby!
You may not like his music, but at least he is playing, writing & recording all pretty much by himself. |

It would have been even better if Ahab was playing drums. |
