The two links don't appear to be related. | That explains it. Disregard the other post.

awesome two episodes...
The samurai sword chick ... dude... what is her deal?
And that nice little town... how many episodes before it gets overrun?
and the heads... because they think there is something remaining of the person in the brain...
walkers starving... cool ... they tried to explain why they are staying alive... so long as they eat... they will live... it takes a lot longer for them to starve... hence them still sticking around...
still doesn't explain them not just rotting away... but whatever...
and Merl alive ... awesome... it'll be cool to have him hook back up with his bro.

I wonder how long till Carol turns up? |

The prison story arc is pretty huge, so they've gotta move fast to set things up. I think in the next few episodes it'll all come together and everyone will go, "Woah." |

It feels kind of like "Lost" in a lot of ways, which I loved at first, and then grew to hate very quickly in the 2nd season because you could tell all the writers were concerned with was creating huge cliff-hangers that would make people tune in the next week, but that week after week very little happened from a storyline perspective. That's what TWD3 feels like to me right now. The phone ringing at the end, with Rick answering it and saying "Hello" just made me mad. That kind of thing is stupid IMO. I wish writers would go back to classical writing where they focus on content and the interaction of characters, instead of trying to get people to watch because they're so curious about what is going to happen next. I'm fine with the settings of the show this season, and with the action too, really. I just hate that they're making the action and cliff-hangers the focal point.
So Rick is freaking out. Or is he, or what? We don't know. It's more important that he gets a phone call. Stupid.
Darryl feeding a baby. That's cool. Shows his compassionate side. Build on stuff like that.
Michonne walking around with a blank angered stair on here face like she's a zombie herself. That's stupid also. Who cares how good she is with a sword when she acts like that? No one acts like that in real life, so why should we be so stupid to watch someone act like that on TV? Can't she be suspicious without having to act like a robot?
I can deal with far-fetched ideas in movies and TV. What I can't deal with is when writers/directors make people act in ways that is totally contrary to how people really behave. That's what makes shows stupid to me.
I'm going to give this more time because I like the concept of the show, but I have a bad feeling this isn't going to go well. |

Not really a spoiler, but a MAJOR point that everyone seems to be overlooking.
I liked the Daryl moment. They said during Talking Dead that another scene with him was cut from the episode. When Daryl and Maggie went on their run, there was a scene where they pulled over and Daryl opened up about Carol. Hopefully it'll make it into the DVD. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
