Eventually Lincoln will want out and he will be killed, and they will keep that top secret so........... everyone is expendable. I expect at least one major character to die...my guess.....Maggie.

Maybe he's just crazy and I shouldn't waste that much more time on it, but they're making him out to be a thoughtful person on the show, not some crazy lunatic. Well, except for combing his zombie kids hair out and watching submersed zombie heads.
Speaking of those zombie heads, where they supposed to be reanimated? I don't recall seeing any of them move? | The duded spends his evening staring at heads in fish tanks!
I wouldn't worry to much about his sanity... |

It was his way of saying, "I'm still a badass, and those zombies couldn't take me down and neither could my abusive brother."
Daryl has a huge decision on his hands. His brother didn't really treat him like family, Merle really kicked him around. The prison group accepted Daryl as one of their own, their family, and that means a lot to Daryl because he's never had that.
I think he will pick the prison group over Merle, but not before a major fight between the two. Or, if the Gov tries to use Merle as a bargaining chip, Daryl will kill the Gov to save Merle, then end up having to kill his own brother. |

Philip was actually his brothers name, which he took when his brother was eaten by walkers.
The Gov's REAL name is Brian, but we will never learn that on the show. I doubt they'll ever go any further into his backstory.
Yes, he's nuts. The ZA broke him. It started by trying to keep Penny (actually his niece) safe, but he failed and it turned him into the monster we see now.
After his brother was killed, he really did some foul stuff on his way to forming the Woodbury community.
This isn't a spoiler, BTW, this is part of the story they never tell except in ROTG.

I just saw you can buy two huge 1088 pages volumes on amazone for a good price with the whole current story...
Is it worth reading?
More importantly will reading the comic really ruin the series for me or do they compliment each other?

They don't ruin the story. In fact, the TV show has strayed so far from the comics at this point that its impossible to know what's happening next, and I'm the biggest TWD fanatic you'll meet!!
There are moments where you'll go "I remember this part!!", like Axel's catchphrase "ya follow me", but for the most part, I'm as clueless as everyone else on Sunday nights. |

I would think a prison would have 2-way devices + vehicles so equipped...some have a duress button...that Glenn coulda used if he had one.

Although a bad guy, I really like the character development on the Governor character. Looking forward to Sunday night...but of course what am I going to watch after that until the next half season?! |

The Merle/Darryl conflict is what keep me interested this season, and I think those involved with the TV series should be lauded for this as, from what I understand, it's not in the comic series.
I was surprised that the guv didn't actually follow through with Maggie - as brutal and horrible as rape is, it seems that would be more in character.
FWIW, for all the pervs, I'm convinced all of the half-nekkid shots of Andrea were of a body double.
As for the prison groups recon of Woodbury, letting in a few walkers would make a great distraction. I hope they do this in the mid-season "finale". I think it'll will end with a cliffhanger about Darryl.
