EDIT: No but seriously, it seems to me that kiss was meant to be confusing to everyone involved, including the audience. I think that's a real smart way series writers operate: Just throw in a few things that might lead somewhere, or might not. Just to give yourself options for storylines, you know? To prevent writing themselves into a corner in three episodes. If the feedback is too negative, or people just aren't that interested, they'll just never come back to it. Like the way a "medium" uses cold reading. Thow stuff out there, see what sticks.

Maggie is strong but she's Glenn's woman. Rick is the leader, available, needs help with the next of kin, and its no secret he and Lori were falling out. She's a young girl and they gravitate towards men of power

Well, I'd amend that to say any survivors, but yeah, bingo.
As for Beth, there was definitely something going on with her. That'll be an interesting plot line if they pursue it, what with Rick's hallucinations.
Speaking of which, I've read elsewhere that Andrew Lincoln is overacting the part of Rick these days, but I think he's portrayal is pretty good given what his character has been through.

Now that they have basically been defeated by strategy and whatnot, they're more like pawns now. Other than that like I said before I'm still a big fan of the series! |

Typically this means that we can expect another cameo from Nicotero(he was in Suicide King). He does at least one cameo each season just for fun and always goes all out.
I'd expect a really cool zombie kill very soon. |
