Hackers' text message unlocks, starts your car

I think that it is about time that we as a society move backwards from all this technology and put in place some manual fall back systems like paper records and analog switching systems.

Ya, just post that all over the internet. Now every major hacker in the world will be taking a crack at it.

Although, that's not so unusual. I remember when we had a nice car a couple of years if you held up the remote to a phone, and then another phone next to the car, you could unlock it mid call. I guess that works on the same principal. I am a little worried, but that is all the more reason to drive an older car, and not leave valuables in it.

On the other hand, WHY ARE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES RUNNING ON THIS? That is a major problem.

At next week's (July 30-Aug. 4) Black Hat Security Conference in Las Vegas

Why don't they round up all the hackers and send them to Guantanamo by the Bay? Hackers do fall under the terrorist classification.

If a hacker can get my car to start, he's one up on me most of the time.
