Just heard this on the news...
I don't know what all the hub-bub is, my monument tilts a little to the left and it's always been considered a bonus judging by the feedback I've gotten.

Anyway, there was a Park Services helicopter going round and round the Monument, and I figured it was to check for any obvious damage.

I'm pretty certain most of the older structures on the eastern seaboard are suspect to say the least. Having lived in a brownstone in Philly, I can certainly see what the hub bub is about  |
