At least not if it breaks in the first game. I understand that breakages happen, but if it can't get through one game (barring freak occurances), then it's a maufacuring/design fault. The key phrase in UK law is "fit for the purpose for which it is sold" - if a squash racket is sold with the intention you play squash with it (a reasonale asumption), then no amount of stickers or limited warrenty can get them off the hook if it breask during reasonable game play.
If they don't like it, the try standing in front of the rack of rackets on a Saturday afternoon, explaining to their customers how pool quality their stuff is. |
