Is that an Ibanez Roadstar II?

I don't notice anything missing, though. Assuming the volume pot is behind the mic stand and the output jack is at the bottom of the picture at the edge of the image.

It's there, it's just lost in a reflection. Look hard and you can see the pole pieces.

They probably had to tape up the pickup 'cause she digs in to hard and slams the strings into the pole pieces.

half is missing, i remember an interview with her in BP i think when the movie came out she was saying the bass is so cool lol

That pickup is just fine. The top half is glaring light from the reflection of the camera flash. Look carefully and you can see the pole pieces. I have that same model bass and the stock pickups have very glossy covers on them that easily reflect light.
