I don't notice anything missing, though. Assuming the volume pot is behind the mic stand and the output jack is at the bottom of the picture at the edge of the image.

Look carefully and you can see the pole pieces. I have that same model bass and the stock pickups have very glossy covers on them that easily reflect light.
