It's the correct official stance. What happens off the clock may be another thing. While I don't think we need to have a graphic shot of his head blown to bits (would you recognize him anyway?) it probably isn't any worse than anything seen in entertainment. Still, that's no excuse and this is still the right thing to do.

this is bs. release the photos. whats the worst it can do? It will piss off Al-Queda and the taliban even more but its not gonna make their plans to attack us any different. At least by releasing the photos you silence some critiques and give some closure to the victim's families of 9/11
