Hi everybody,
Since a whole lot of you are strangely closer to me than most, I thought I would share this...
My wife and I are in the process of buying our, I guess you would say, dream house.
We have lived in a little old house for 10 years, I mean old as in built in 1929, we have saved dilligently, remodeled most everything ourselves, and somehow just had our offer accepted on one kick-a$$ crib!!
I mean this thing is over the top!! There is a room downstairs and around the corner that is like 30 x 17 x like 15 feet tall!
It looks like some crazy bar/club in the middle of the Yukon! All wood and stone and a big cathedral ceiling!! It is a bass players dream!! Acoustics from hell!! I hope to host a NW Indiana GTG within the next year!!!
Just wanted to share...Peace and Cheers to all my TB bretheren...and sisteren!

The wall between the booths could be taken out so a whole band could sit in there together and play. It was awesome learning stuff in there, we would record it and then play it back, finding my mistakes. It was awesome.

Congratulations!

Good thing I'm off this week because we have a lot of work to do though, they want us to de-clutter!!!!

-Mike | I'd assume that that brick wall could quite easily be a load bearing pillar or some kind, or possibly just a half wall. Quote:

Going from the brick wall and the pitched roof, I expect that that brick wall was originally the extrerior of the downstairs room, an extension was added onto the outside and part of the wall was removed (likely in a window, which would explain a small remainder of the original wall.
The extension would have a pitched roof as it doesn't have a second floor above it.
Thats my guess anyway.

From where that pic was taken, you can walk backwards quite a bit. There is quite a big area that is all open before you walk formally into that room, if that makes sense.
It's a tri-level and that room was added on around the corner from the rest of the downstairs.

Geez. | You misunderstand my use of the word geeze, I guess I need to use more of these to get my tone across:

Geeze is short for Jesus.
To some a mythical character who was formulated among the minds of power hungry rulers looking for a crutch to rule their subjects with.
For others, he is the greatest man who ever lived and provides inspiration for billions around the world to lead better lives.
Take your pick.
