After lurking around here for many years, and reading the various posts about this and that, and seeing how quick we are to jump all over someone when we don't quite agree with the said person's thread.... it makes me think Bassists are the TRUE know it all a-holes of the band?
Now i realise I'm committing Talkbass suicide here, but....prove me wrong?  |

On top of that, trolls exist on the internet. Something about anonymity that makes everyones testes and egos grow. I don't agree with everyone on TB, and I probably irritate some members; however, the nice people here at talk bass have never refused to help me due to some outlandish reason (happened to a friend of mine on UG). They've never spammed my inbox with porn because I didn't sell them something at 30% of its original value.
If you really feel like bassists and TB are bad, maybe you need to visit ultimate-guitar, or PDF, or even a paintball forum if your feeling risky.
Edit: Oh wait, I got defensive and jumped all over you... Oops.
