Weird ebay/paypal glitch

I was going to buy a cable tester. When I finished the paypal transaction it showed I had paid for two. I did not recieve a confirmation of payment email, and no "congratulations" email from ebay. My activity summary shows no purchases.

Are you sure you were on a legitimate Ebay/Paypal site?

Notify PayPal immediately. Dispute it vehemently.

I used paypal yesterday and didn't get a confirmation. I did get word from the seller they got the money, but nothing from paypal to me.

It's getter worse. There is no transaction link to ebay in my Paypal overview. The seller information only has a website address (Wholesale - Buy China Wholesale Products from Chinese Wholesalers on DHgate.com.) It is an overseas site that looks a lot like ebay. When I go to ebay, I log in to check my feedback, etc. I am pretty confident I logged in to the legitimate ebay site. I have disputed the claim though!

DHgate wasn't the seller name. I'm glad it's only 48.00 instead of several hundred.

I escalated this as soon as I was allowed. In my messages to Paypal I have repeatedly told them I did not order from DHgate, there is no reference to any auction, no description of what I purchased. The item I did purchase is not sold by DHgate. After the escalation, I got a response from DHgate asking for patience as they have sent my item. Geez.

I got a tracking number. It shows my package headed for the Russian Federation.

Using the tracking number, log into the shipping company website and have them re-direct your shipment.
