(*Inbred to the point of stupidity being a breed trait.  Standard poodles are great dogs, what they did to them to create these travesties is horrific, in my opinion. It is no longer a dog. In the case of this poor critter...shudder...  )

I've known a couple of Standards and they're wonderful, smart dogs (did y'all know that the poodle was originally bred to be a hunting dog, specifically a retriever? That's where the 'poodle' haircut came from - the chest fur to keep the chest warm, and the fuzzy 'ball' bits on the feet and tail for traction (as it were) in the water, and everything else removed to help hydrodynamics in the water)

Sorry if I'm being a wet blanket, but I don't find that very funny actually, it just makes me P!$$ED off at the people that felt it was necessary to breed an animal that would be like that. To what purpose? Really? They're "fashion accessories", not animals, at that point.
It's tantamount to animal cruelty in my opinion - and I am no raving PETA member, I'm a card-carrying carnivore that fishes and hunts.
