No one ever seems to post in the "Welcome Thread" for newbies. Welcome Forum - New Member Intros - TalkBass Forums
Shaaaaame. We should be making them feel welcome to TB. Also, ... more new people will bring more *interesting* things around here.
Just thought I'd bring that to everyone's attention.

I think regulars (rightly or wrongly) just forget to go to the "Welcome" thread. Besides, once noobies start participating, they should soon realise just how friendly (generally  ) and helpful TB is. Also, when a noob posts for the first time, a regular will notice this and welcome him/her then. I have seen this happen lots of times.
No harm in bringing it to people's attention though.
