"Snow will be heavy at times along with gusty winds. Low around 30F. Winds N at 25 to 35 mph. Snow accumulating 8 to 12 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph."

Chicago gets damn cold in the winter, of course, but we typically don't get as much snow as you guys. Hasn't been bad so far, it's dipped into the upper 30s overnight.

Last year, it got in the 80's or 90's in October or November almost out of spite.And then we had the coldest May and June and the hottest August in our state's history this year. Go figure.
