This is tonight's forecast from the National Weather Service for Central Massachusetts:

"Snow will be heavy at times along with gusty winds. Low around 30F. Winds N at 25 to 35 mph. Snow accumulating 8 to 12 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph."

Lovely! Just what we needed!

Yeah, it was getting as low as 39 here in the early mornings last week; I almost considered wearing something other than shorts.

Typical Canadian fall weather, about 3C (37F). Good weather to go for a walk with my dogs. I imagine we'll be getting winter soon. Yay... We had a biting winter that wouldn't go away (late April/early May was the last snowfall), and warm weather didn't kick in until about July. Then back all over again!

HA! I live in Winnipeg, the coldest on-average city with population above 500,000 in the WORLD and it's 8C now and hasn't snowed yet!

We've had snow Friday, not a lot, didn't stay, but still. And yet we still occupied today.

He he, no snow here! Has gone down as low as -7C (19F) here, but we haven't got any snow in the forecast. Still a bit early really.

Yeah it was down to 272 tonight, no snow here, but Pittsburgh got some, as well as a little to the north.

Isn't that why it's called Winterpeg?
I was @ Portage and Main once, in Feb, with a heavy coat on....for 5 minutes!

Dude, you live in Mass--this is what happens.

Chicago gets damn cold in the winter, of course, but we typically don't get as much snow as you guys. Hasn't been bad so far, it's dipped into the upper 30s overnight.

I'm looking at a high of 73F on Sunday. Winter doesn't usually come here until late January.

Also in Winnipeg here.... I would say about half the time, Halloween is freezing cold and snowy here, so my kids are gonna have a nice break this year! It's actually pretty amazing that we haven't even really seen any snow yet at all - pretty unusual. It still feels like September almost.

It's only 275 here right now. Pretty cold, but on-par with this time of the year (bi-polar). Tennessee usually doesn't have its weather worked out until well into November for the winter and into late May for the summer.

Last year, it got in the 80's or 90's in October or November almost out of spite. And then we had the coldest May and June and the hottest August in our state's history this year. Go figure.

This crap isn't supposed to happen in NJ! We got a lot more than the "dusting" they were predicting here.
