Whaaatt a day..Totalled my car..**UPTADED w/ post accident pics

Around 3:30 today I totaled my 2000 Monte Carlo. Rolled it 3 times, and ended up in the ditch on my roof facing the opposite direction I was traveling. I managed to crawl out the passenger window and call 911. The ambulance came, and took me to the ER. Luckily nothing was wrong with me, I just have to wear this damn neck brace for the next 5 days, and they've got my drugged up on muscle relaxers. I feel sooo lucky, because usually I have a lead foot, and today for some reason I was actually doing under the speed limit. ( 55 posted) I was only doing 40.

I have never been a religious type of guy for even a single day of my life, but I feel truly blessed to walk away with my life.

R.I.P

Will follow with totaled pictures.

Glad to hear you got out okay!

Car wrecks freak me out.
Thank God I've never been in one.

that sucks... i had half of quite a day... got home at midnight in an awful mood and then played halo 3 till i could hardly hold my self upright to get rid of the stress... nothing like that though.

Glad you are alright... those things can end very badly... hope for a healthy and not so painful recovery

So what did you do to roll your car three times? Misjudge a corner, swerve to avoid an animal in the road?

I didn't even do anything, so it was definitely something to have to do with the car. What actually made my roll it was both of my left tires hitting the soft shoulder, if I would of had maybe another 20 feet I could have pulled out of it.

What did your insurance agent say when you told him, I didn't do anything, it was the car that did it?

Are you thinking of suing GM?

I'm just curious, I've heard about lemons doing odds thing before, but this is a doosie.

All of my wheels we're intact, but without any pressure on them to flatten them i'm not really sure.

I'm assuming something broke and jammed one of my wheels.

Dang, that is some scary stuff. I'm glad to hear you are fine. Is your insurance going to replace the car for you?

They told me that with the state its in, they're just going to compensate me for what the car was worth BEFORE I totaled it.

Is it bad to say that even though I could have lost my life, I'm kind of excited to get a new car?
