Depends. I think it went down in phases. Catching my parents setting presents under the tree when I was 4 pretty much set me up for a lifetime of world-loathing.

I think I was about 18 months old. I had just finished tearing my way through my weight class, only to be destroyed by some 3' giant in the championship fight. When I came to, I learned that he was a disqualified immediately afterward. Turns out that he was nearly 38 months old! That alone was sickening, but to add insult to injury, I was denied my championship belt due to the career ending damage that he inflicted. To this day, I still think about how that great belt, with its faux leather, slightly rusted rivets, and shiney new K-mart price tag, should have been mine.

I was really really jaded but I became ill when I was in my mid 20's and was ill for quite a while, during this time I stopped been jaded, I stopped thinking about anything that would tire me or wear me down, also had to change the music I listened to which took me a long time to accept but the illness forced it upon me.

I don't think I'm jaded. I can still find something worthwhile in whatever is happening.
