I've had very bad experiences with Bank of America, Citibank, and Wells Fargo
That said recently i switched everything but my checking over to Capital One so far so good

One for every-day items, and one for buying myself toys. PNC has pissed me off a few times, but all and all, they've been good to me. Frankly, it's also far more convenient than Commerce. Commerce has done fine by me, but they just don't get the business, and the cute teller isn't there anymore.
I use Bank of America and Citibank credit cards. Citibank's APR is incredibly high, and BOA reported my card stolen for no reason right after they acquired MBNA, who the credit card was through. Wasn't thrilled about that on my credit report, but when my number actually WAS used for bogus purchases, they were on top of that right away.
