A bit like a smurf: A lot of blue with a white cap. One of the best Belgian triples in my opinion.

I'm having one of those:

It's not bad, but it's average. Not much flavor.

This just tasted like Xmas beer should. Strong, yet balanced.

They have Bernardus 12 on draught in one of my favorite pubs. I wanted to hug the guy responsible.

At the moment it's one of these, 'cause I wanted something light.

I absolutely love these bottles.

Say, anyone here ever tried Goose Island? Was offered something at a bar recently, GI Matilda and Pere Jacques. They looked good, but I didn't try them. Might go back and try it

Today: Victory Storm King stout. Too hoppy when taken as a stout IMO, since the stouts I'm used to are more malty. Not really my thing.

Yesterday: More Duck-Rabbit "Duck-Rabbator" doppelbock. Now that's good stuff.

Today I had two unusual drinks.

After trying a Red Robin Beer Shake the other week, I decided to make my own beer milkshake with vanilla ice cream and some Nero's 1st. Century Double Dark Malt Ale. I just poured half a glass of beer in the blender and added ice cream until it was thick enough. It was an unusual milkshake, for sure, but it was very tasty.

I also had a sea urchin martini at a sushi restaurant, with dinner. The sea urchin at the bottom of the glass didn't really have much flavor, and it looked gross, but the drink was great! It was not "fishy" at all. I guess I would best describe it as vodka with sesame oil and lemon. (The main ingredient was something called Soju, however.)

I can't have beer right now, I'm going to be writing my last exam soon, but when I get home afterward, I have a can of boxer in the fridge, which I shall imbibe while showering, to celebrate my new-found freedom. I know it's cheap and crappy, but I can't wait!

indeed man, I should start a club thread about it "the crappy beer in a shower club". I also had a pint of this stuff called headstrong black&tan, it was an interesting beer, not sure if I'd have it again.
