She learned alot from her mother, a great cook. I'm torn between the two when deciding who cooks better, so it depends on whoever is in the room at the time. |

I haven't seen or heard of anyone else making it.
It's a green salad, with penne pasta on top, with a ranch dressing sauce, bacon, fetta cheese and olives. It's SOOOO GOOD.
But the secret ingredient... mango. Mango cheeks on the side, both for decoration and taste.
Seriously, it sounds weird. But it's the best food ever, and my mum is the only one I know who makes it.

(I've never been what you'd call svelte.) She's been gone for 20 years, and honestly, nothing specific comes to mind as far as what she used to cook.
Huh.......

he makes the nicest rice in the planet - saffron, pits of fried potato, minced beef, fried egg... the rice itself could constitute a meal yaknow...
and then my mum always made the jhal frezi to go with. sorta cute I spose
